Readwise MCP Comes to NoodleLab

It is 2:30 AM, and I am putting the finishing touches on a connector that has been months in the planning. I have been a Readwise fan for a long time. When its owner found out I had been laid off in 2024, he even extended my subscription by six months, a kindness I have never forgotten. Since then, I have used Readwise to save all those articles I just knew I was absolutely going to read later. Naturally, they joined the highly organized collection of other things I was definitely going to get back to.

The real value of Readwise is that it gives useful ideas a place to live instead of letting them disappear into browser tabs, screenshots, bookmarks, and forgotten notes. The problem is that saving information and using information are two very different things. A connector closes that gap. It allows the knowledge inside one system to be securely reached, understood, and used by another system, with permissions, monitoring, and logging built into the process.

Now that Readwise is connected to NoodleNet, my agent team can search what I have saved, bring relevant ideas into active projects, and connect old highlights to new work. I am also connecting it to my Second Brain so it can do things like say, "Hey, you saved a post about XYZ, you may want to read it now." That will be especially powerful for post research, where something I saved months ago could suddenly become the missing piece for what I am writing today. Instead of having a library I hope to revisit someday, I am building a working knowledge system that helps me remember, research, create, and make better decisions.
