One of the most common AI mistakes inside a business is losing the good work.
Someone finds a prompt or workflow that consistently gets better results out of Odoo. It helps with summaries, updates, routing, or next-step generation. It works well for a while. Then it spreads informally, gets copied loosely, and eventually nobody knows which version is actually worth trusting.
A strong prompt is reusable intellectual property
If a prompt repeatedly helps the team do better work, it should not live as tribal knowledge.
Treat it like an internal asset:
- give it an owner
- document the purpose
- list the required inputs
- show an example of good output
- define the limits
- track revisions over time
That turns individual experimentation into institutional learning.
Context dependencies matter too
Some of the best prompts are not Odoo-only prompts. They rely on context from call notes, support history, project docs, or other operational systems. If that outside context matters, say so clearly. Otherwise the prompt looks reusable until somebody runs it without the ingredients that made it work.

When a company captures what actually works and makes it reusable, the team stops rediscovering the same good ideas over and over. That is not flashy, but it is exactly how AI becomes durable inside real operations.
